New Tennis Courts in 2008

In December 2007 we were very pleased to receive confirmation that our application to Sportscotland for funding was successful. The award is matched by Perth & Kinross District Council, Perth Leisure with the balance made up from our own funds, including a substantial donation from the Balcraig Trust.  Work was carried out by DOE (North) Ltd, Aberdeen and project managed by Chartered Surveyors Hamish Bell & Associates. The project started in February 2008 and completed in June 2008.

The work included:

• New court surface

• New Fencing

• New and improved flood lighting

We are also grateful for the contribution made by our local councillor, Councillor Lewis Simpson of the Strathmore Ward.
